The chamber opera by Tom Cipullo and librettist David Mason tells the story of Hungarian poet Miklos Radnoti. Conducted by Benjamin Grow with stage direction by Garrett Heater. Featuring Peter Kendall Clark, Sarah Heltzel, and Laura Dixon Strickling. “The Parting” was commissioned by Music of Remembrance and was premiered on May 19, 2019 at Benaroya Hall, Seattle, WA.
